Once you have downloaded the file and populated it with the details for your Organizations AOI you can click the "Choose File". Please select your file and click the "Upload" button.
Import Person(s)
This is the option where you can Import many users at the same time from within your Organization.
It is important to use the "Download Template" option so you can sure to create a file to upload with all of the correct fields populated. Once you have populated the file select the "Choose File", select your file and click "Upload" to commence the Import process for your users.
Each of your users will be sent an Activation email where they are required to provide a Username and Password to be able to gain access to the system.
Import Jobs
Importing Jobs will likely be a more common process that you use when importing data into the system.
The Job Import screen looks like this:
The file types that you can import are either:
- ESRI Shape Files (SHP)
- MapInfo Files (TAB)
- Keyhole Markup Language (KML)
Each of these files include a geometry for each individual Job as well as Metadata as per the required fields of information needed by the system. It is important to understand this metadata structure before importing a file.
